The underground of Fano is an area of great archeological interest. The underground can be explored thanks to guided tours held during the summer from July to September. The guided itinerary takes about 2 hours, starts at the Convent Sant’Agostino in Vitruvio street and goes by amazing sites.

Worth recommending is the mechanized Nativity scene in the cellars of the 18th century Palazzo Fabbri, near the Church of San Marco. It covers an area of 350 meters and includes 50 scenes rich in details and surprisingly realistic telling the New and Old Testament.
